We are delighted that Refugee Boy is now on tour. Reviews are fabulous and this is such a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness and engage a new audience to sanctuary issues.

Click here for full details of the tour showing at theatres around the country including Ipswich, Oxford, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow, Nottingham and Manchester. We really recommend that you promote this and don’t miss it.

One theatre goer who saw it when it was first on last year and went again recently told us:

“I went to see Refugee Boy with a small group of sanctuary seekers and supporters the other night. Having seen and loved it last year, I did not expect to be surprised or impacted much, but to just appreciate again the art and message, and offer information to my fellow theatre goers..

I was wrong. The play has matured, the message has deepened, the actors and directors have strengthened their commitment to living sanctuary, and it stunned me, silenced me, took my breath away. … along with everyone else in the packed theatre. The teenage children sitting in front of me, two classes of year 8 who had travelled from Derby, were silent after the final curtain, some were wiping away their tears. ‘I want to see it again in Nottingham’ said one. ‘I didn’t know it was that awful, how could it happen?’ stammered another.

Refugee Boy is now on tour. It’s brilliant, don’t miss it.”
